SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS TRIP TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

From our series of conferences and virtual matchmaking events.

The Global Trade Chamber and the Santiago de los Caballeros Chamber of Commerce and Production presented on October 20, 2016 the “Doing Business with the US” conference with the participation of the Global Trade Chamber President: Al Otero.

More than 50 companies took part at the Conference. Sectors which included: technology, food, logistics services, manufacturing, importers and distributors, automotive, real estate, industrial products, consulting services, restaurants,hotels, franchising, and others were interested in exploring opportunities with the United States.

The event helped generate businesses between companies of both chambers as well as both countries. As a part of the conferences American and Dominican Republican companies had one-on-one meetings.

BUSINESS MATCHMAKING

Great business matchmaking sessions, one-on-one meetings with over 30 commercial enterprises. Companies and entrepreneurs interested in investing in the US, purchasing many products from our members, and exporting goods to the US. This is the most important segment of the trip, where we create bilateral opportunities for the members of both chambers to do business with each other and develop long term relationships.

SIGNING THE CHAMBER AGREEMENT

07The agreement signed between Global Trade Chamber President, Al Otero and  Santiago de los Caballeros Chamber of Commerce and Production President, Juan Manuel Ureña has the purpose of developing links between both organizations as a means to contributing to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

During the signing of the agreement among the topics discussed was the development of theVirtual Business Center, this new service of the Global Trade Chamber aimed at entrepreneurs to help generate new business worldwide without having to travel. Discussed as well were: virtual conferences and virtual business meetings, discounts to members of the  Santiago de los Caballeros Chamber of Commerce and Production, mutual cooperation between chambers for the benefit of the members, among other services.
